Christmas Eve (well, kinda)

I was really bad about taking pics this year but I got the important ones.

These pics are NOT from Christmas Eve.

I take Gyllyan a few days before Christmas so I can give her my presents and take her into my work.

she was so cute about opening her presents this year, so excited!

a gingerbread house in the making...

When I was a little girl, my Aunt Lynda used to send my sister & I a Gingerbread house that was already assembled.
I thought this year was a good year to try to put one together with Gyllyan.

Have you ever tried this before??

it was soooo not as easy as it looks on the box!

I have to confess that I was in charge of the icing.

NOT. Gyllyan.

and we had the hardest time keeping the tree & gingerbread man standing! In the end, the gingerbread man didn't make it, apparently, he looked way to yummy on one of his falls to one of the dogs!!

Everybody had a really nice day including myself.
I def love getting presents but looovvee giving them too!
I got ALOT of nice gifts & can't wait to use them!

(even though she got sick thru the night into CE & didn't have the energy to play with it all day)

Bridget loved her Coach make-up bag

and this year we changed things up a bit

and all had dinner together.

i love it!

i love being with my family!

and would rather it be like that every holiday!!

and Kendra loved all her presents too!

Things R a changin' in L-town

Everyone is decorating for Christmas!

I LOVE IT!!

I can't even tell you how excited I get when I see Chrismas decorations & lights.

It makes me think of how special it was for my dad & I when I was growing up. How he would pick us up for our winter break and as soon as we crossed the bridge into Pa., before we even made it to my Pop-Pop &Grammy's, he would drive through Levittown so we could look at lights.

It makes me miss him so much more but I love, love, love that Gyllyan loves to look at lights with me now.

(It's hard to get anyone to go with me)

So before I took her home tonight, we stopped for Hot Chocolate & off sight seeing we went.

This one of our favorite stops and this is a good one too!

Everyone had a great Christmas once again this year...the "favorite" present was a puppy from Bridget to my Aunt Terri. Lieba is her name ~ German for "Love"!
